100% Merlot. 3,500 bottles made for this second wine of Chateau Seraphine.The purity of the perfume is enticingly extravagant with the wine showing luscious aromas of purple plums, dark cherries and graphite with a little delicate vanilla. The palate further complements the wine with blackcurrant compote infused notes and crushed Parma violet sweets that speak of Pomerol. The tannins are soft and fine and the wine is almost impossibly accessible already. A very well made wine. Tasted by Steven Spurrier.
