Maison Devillard offers its vintage Le Renef, a 100% Chardonnay wine designed for unique moments. Coming from clay-limestone soil, this white Burgundy is the fruit of sustainable agriculture. Its color is a limpid and crystalline light gold with green reflections. The nose opens with a bouquet of white flowers, such as hawthorn and acacia, with accents of flint. This aromatic, smooth and firm wine is dry and not very robust, while being rather persistent.
This excellent Burgundian Chardonnay will please fans of strong dry wines. Users of the Vivino virtual wine shop ranked it among the top 5% of wines in the world in its year. The wine is smooth with an intense fruity bouquet. The aroma of yellow melon and tropical fruit pleasantly complements the taste of juicy citrus with notes of vanilla and buttery toast.
It best complements baked dishes with poultry meat or soft cheeses with noble mold.
