The wine is the transferred to 15 hl oak barrels and left there to mature for 24 months; one more year of bottle-age and the wine is ready for sale. Bright garnet red with orange tints in color, its bouquet has intense scents of black currants, nuts and vanilla. The resulting taste is fully, pleasantly persistent and well balanced. This is the classic and traditional Barolo wine.
