ORCHIS, Quintessence de Mondeuse 2020 (1x75cl)

The vineyard is located in Poisy in Haute-Savoie. There, with a view of the nearby Mont Blanc, the climate is alpine. The Mondeuse grapes come from a total of two hectares, spread over three vineyards, some of which are extremely steep, at an altitude of between 350 and 450 metres. The terroir is located in Desingy, in Collonges and in Peillonnex. The soils have a mixture of calcareous loam, glacial debris and rock. The yield is 25 hl/h. The grapes are 90 % de-stemmed to avoid astringency and aged over two winters in older barrels before the wine is bottled unfiltered.
