Terroir:The substratum of this climat is fragmented rock and the topsoil consists in approximately 40% clay, 40% silt and fine sand, and 20% coarse sand. These conditions are the most favorable for the production of great white wines.
Tasting notes:This wine expresses well on the nose the nature of the land with almond and hazelnut aromas blended with vegetal, floral and mineral notes; it is rich and harmonious in the mouth when the same aromas as experienced on the nose are brought out. With good freshness and structure, it is a robust and pleasant wine, ideal for ageing.
Serving suggestion:With fish and seafood such as lobster; it can also enhance some white meats. When aged, serve with foie gras.
