Domaine A.-F. Gros, Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru Les St. Georges 2019 (1x75cl)

2 barrels, one new. Glowing purple and a fine deep rich fruit on the nose, breaks out of the mold. Plump deep fruit, then the oak, the fruit, darker plums, enough acidity too and some classical tannins, well folded in. Very good. Tasted by Jasper Morris MW in October 2019.
