Remoissenet Chorey les Beaunes Red 2017 (1x75cl)

Remoissenet Père et Fils is a reference point for refined Burgundy wines. This ancient estate, connected by mortar and stone to the medieval walls of Beaune, is for serious collectors linked by vine and bottle to Burgundy’s hallowed past and its exciting future. Chorey-lès-Beaune lies on the lower slopes of the Côte de Beaune; it has mixed soils with limestone-marls and calcium-rich gravels. Its near neighbours are Aloxe-Corton and Savigny-lès-Beaune to the north and west and Beaune to the south. Fermented and aged in French oak barrels, about a third new; the wine shows a typically generous and approachable palate, laced with subtle, delicate tannins.
