Remoriquet Nuits Saint Georges 1er Cru Les St Georges 2006 (1x75cl)

Four generations of family has ran the estate, of the now 10 hectares on VosneRomanee, Nuits-Saint Georges, and Chaux.The roots of the domaine started with Gilles Remoriquet’s great-grandparents working the vines and buying the Nuits Les Allots that the domaine still farms. The domaine was continued by Gilles’ grandparents. Father Henri further expanded the number of plots owned by the domaine – some in metayage, with important Nuits 1er Crus from both north and south of Nuits, plus a rare 1er Cru of Vosne-Romanee. The serious, intense Gilles Remoriquet makes a fine range of wines, mostly from Nuits-StGeorges. In 1998, a large investment in the cellar and winemaking room took place and improved the wines drastically. A good, vibrant colour, fruity,floral and vegetal aromas develop with ageing.
