Mikunihare Shuzo is located in the small town in the east of Kurobe City, Toyama Prefecture.
Founded in 1887, it has a history of more than 120 years. It is about 50 meters away from Toyama Bay and located at the lowest reaches of the Kurobe River. Surrounded by the Sea of Japan, it is backed by the northern Japanese Alps. Since its establishment, it has been brewing sake using groundwater that has flowed from the snow melted in the Northern Alps through the ground over a hundred years later.
While keeping up with the trend of the times and using new technologies, it has always paid attention to the traditional methods that have been passed down for a century, and wants to convey the concept of "you can easily enjoy delicious sake every day" to everyone. The brewers also implement this concept every day to make sake, which is also the sake brewing spirit that Huangkokuharu Sake Brewery has always cherished.
