DOMAINE JACQUESON / BURGUNDY
One of the very best domaines of the Côte Chalonnaise, Domaine Jacqueson was founded by Henri Jacqueson in 1946 and he re-establishes the name of Rully, which had been better known before WWI. Now it is run by his children Paul and Marie, in which Paul worked with his father since 1972. The domaine is admired by peers throughout Burgundy. The vineyard practices a reasoned culture, respecting the Burgundy traditions, it extends to 18 ha of well-sited, carefully tended vineyards, many containing very old vines, 11 ha in Rully, 6 ha in Mercurey and one hectare in Bouzeron.
