Chateau de la Maltroye, Chassagne Montrachet Blanc 1er Cru 2021 (1x75cl)

Like the Bourgogne, there is a whiff of phenolic character on the cool and airy aromas of green apple, petrol and floral wisps. There is first-rate intensity to the dense, rich and palate soaking medium-bodied flavors that also conclude in a bone-dry and youthfully austere finale that displays very good depth and persistence. Once again, note well that this is presently tightly wound and a wine that should amply repay up to a decade of keeping.
