DOMAINE BERTAGNA / BURGUNDY
Located in Vougeot, once belonged to the Cistercian monks in the 13th century and now managed by the Reh family – Eva Reh, with more than 7 generation of wine making in Mosel, Domaine Bertagna has impressive Grand Cru and Premier Cru holdings, including two monopoles. Eva proudly endeavors to preserve her family’s philosophy of producing wines with intense aromatic expression of fruit and spice, elegance and length, not dominated by the oak, and typical of their specific terroirs. Today, Domaine Bertagna comprises 51 acres, 49 of which are planted to Pinot Noir. The remaining 2 acres are planted to Chardonnay, and split between Vougeot 1er Cru Les Cras, Vougeot Le Village and a parcel of Corton-Charlemagne.
