The 2022 Puligny-Montrachet shows exactly what the terroir is known for: a fine floral paired with lemon confit, verbena, greengage, some grapefruit and orange peel. There is also a hint of white nougat, a little smoke and a very subtle wood note.On the palate, the wine is clear. It is naturally shy and finer than the Meursault, but with a much more present acidity. The wine appears dense, offers some extract sweetness, a sensual fruit and a tart, herbal and firm finish with successful use of wood.Already very strong for its second year!To be enjoyed from 2026 and certainly until 2036+.Before then, the wine should be decanted.
