JM SELEQUE, Solessence, Brut Nature NV (1x75cl)

Disgorged in February 2020 with 2.5 grams per liter dosage, the NV Extra Brut Solessence is based on the 2017 vintage. Offering up aromas of pear, citrus oil, fresh bread and pastry cream, it's medium to full-bodied, pillowy and charming, with lively acids and an attractive pinpoint mousse. Seamless and complete, this is one of the most charming, immediate renditions of Solessence that I've tasted. I'd love to revisit it with a few years on cork, once more complexity has emerged.
