Trio Infernal Riu is a red wine from Priorat prepared by the Trio Infernal cellar. This wine is a blend of Grenache (45%), Carignan (45%) and Syrah (10%).
The vineyards from which the grapes come are located at an altitude of between 300 and 500 metres. These are treated by organic viticulture.
Once in the winery, the grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature and extraction is performed by manual movement.
The maceration lasts about a month and the final aging is carried out for 12 months in French oak barrels previously containing one or two wines with capacity of 500 litres.
The beauty of the lands of Montsant seduced Combier, Fisher and Gerin, three French winemakers who decided in 2002 to start the Infernal Trio project.
