In 1937, Mr. Jean-Pierre Moueix founded his wine merchant business on the Quai du Priourat in Libourne. Selling solely to wholesalers. Jean-Pierre Moueix distributes only red wines from the most prestigious appellations - Saint-Émilion and Pomerol.
After 2 generations of hard work and development, the family owns famous winerie including Ch. Magdelaine & Ch. Bèlair-Monange in St. Émilion; Ch. La Fleur-Pétrus, Ch. Hosanna, Ch. Trotanoy, Ch. Certan Marzelle in Pomerol.
This property is managed by JeanMarie Garde, well known in Pomerol and Bordeaux. The highly influential Bordeaux oenologist Michel Rolland consults for this small vineyard
The avg. 45 year-old vines spread over gentle hills, on a sandy & clayey soil. All grapes are hand harvested. It has been aged for 16 months in oak barrels (25% new). Classic Bordeaux in a Pomerol style.
