Gran Barquero is a slightly doomed, soft, velvety and energetic Oloroso. Archetype of the Andalusian fortified wine subjected to oxidative aging. Made with Pedro Ximénez (100%) and with an alcohol content of 19º. Oxidative aging, by the soleras and criaderas system for a minimum period of 15 years in oak casks. Clean and bright in appearance, with intense tears and a mahogany color. Intense and penetrating aroma, with hints of wood, nuts, raisins and spices. On the palate it is structured, dry and velvety at the same time, and with a slight bitterness on the finish of the mouth. Elegant retronasal route. It is recommended to consume at room temperature accompanying nuts or desserts.  
SMELL Very intense and penetrating. Long aging complex with hints of wood, dried fruit (walnut), raisins and spices.
TASTE Structured, powerful, warm without excess, dry and velvety at the same time, fleshy, full-bodied. Soft on the palate. Slight bitterness at the end of the mouth. Elegant retronasal route.
VITICULTURE Vineyard located in the two areas of superior quality. Albariza lands of the Sierra de Montilla and the Moriles Altos, whose texture allows optimal ripening of the grape. The climate is hot and dry.
