Prestigious historical brand born in 1811, Santa Sofia’s winery is in Pedemonte, into the heart of Valpolicella Classica, in San Pietro in Cariano, next to the only Villa designed by Andrea Palladio in Verona. The most prestigious wines are ageing into the historical XIV century cellars. The Begnoni Family manages since 1967 and takes care also of the agronomic and winemaking process. The family recently invested in Valpantena, in the eastern part of Valpolicella, acquiring a vineyard in Briago. Today they live enthusiastically their role of witnesses and keepers of enologic tradition.
